Please come to class prepared Friday night with an inkjet printed photograph that has been printed on matte paper (Staples, Fed-Ex Kinkos, UPS can print these for you). Request heavier/thicker paper. Gloss, Satin, 35mm photography do not work with this process. If you have a high quality inkjet printer at home (such as an Epson or Cannon printer) you can print your image yourself on matte photo paper. Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte works the best for this process, however any matte paper that does not have any optical brighteners will work. Feel free to email me or call if you have questions or need help with this. Please keep your image around 8x10 as this process can get tricky if you go much bigger, especially if this is your first time. You may bring your own piece of wood if you desire, otherwise wood will be provided for you.
A minimum of 5 students are needed to run the class with a maximum of 12. Please sign up by Tuesday, November 27th. Should you be interested in the course but can’t make it this time around, this course will be repeated on Jan 11-12.
